Roundshield was looking to acquire more space in Mayfair as their building was being redeveloped and SHB were asked to find alternative solutions.
After looking at various Mayfair options which didn’t represent value for money, SHB found them their perfect space. The space, on the other side of Regents Street in Soho, has a great floor plans and is situated in a trendy area which proved to be the catalyst for further expansion of the business on better-than-market terms.
SHB RE and Roundshield Partners explored various lease lengths and we soon worked out that the space w was going to be a statement piece and Round Shields was happy to take a longer lease to get a better commercial deal.
SHB RE negotiated 21 months rent-free into the deal while also getting a carpet contribution, a floor box allowance and which all contributed to managing to achieve over £1,100,000 savings across the term.
