Multiple services (Long-term strategy, serviced space, dilapidations and acquisitions)
Outstanding relationship with a long-term client where we have worked closely for over 6 years across multiple service lines and advising across their operational needs and business objectives. When first instructed in 2019, they were in County Hall, SE1, so were looking to stay within close proximity of the area, and the dilapidations liability needed to be negotiated from a building perspective. The Climate Group were originally seeking 6,000 – 7,000 sq ft that was cost effective against their current rent on a conventional lease basis.
In the initial project, we were instructed for Stay Vs. Go, and dilapidations negotiations. During this project COVID-19 occurred so we efficiently moved to a short-term strategy whereby we acquired extremely versatile serviced offices for over 90 people. Once the internal and external project team ascertained what the long-term operational needs were, we were able to acquire and advise on up to 11,000 sq ft on a long-term conventional lease.
