Having supported the team during the Pandemic, where we worked with them to find a flexible workspace solution at The exceptional Ministry in Borough, we were appointed to help run a Stay vs Go analysis. MCM were debating whether to stay in serviced accommodation or whether they were going to move to their own demise.
After conducting various cash flow analyses on a ‘Stay vs Go’ basis it was clear that opting for a traditional lease was the most cost-effective option. After viewing options in SE1 and Southbank we created a short list of viable options. From this the favourite option presented itself.
We were able to achieve £4.50 off the asking rent and 25 months rent-free across the term culminating in the region of £800,000 of Savings over the term of the lease.
