SHB’s was initially instructed to assist Validus Risk Management in a move from an HQ office in Eton and a small serviced space in Paddington to central London. The idea would be to amalgamate both spaces. We analysed their business needs and functions and advised that managed space was the most appropriate space for their current business needs. A few years later and VRM had grown to a size where they wanted to move out of their current space. Relooking at their business operations and needs a feasibility study showed that services accommodation wasn’t the most financially efficient option due to their increased headcount. We ended up acquiring the impressive Heels building (Manufacturing Building) from General Projects. VRM signed a 5-year lease with a break option at the 3rd and the 4th year.
We managed to agree upon a deal that saved the client over £195,000 across the term.
