Jack&Boule

What a great event! Hosted by our SHB Flexible Advisory team for flexible workspace providers, it was an evening filled with camaraderie and competition! We extend our sincere appreciation to Jack&Boule in Southbank for an evening of impeccable service and enjoyment! A special shoutout to all the workspace providers who participated in the boules tournament, culminating in a victory for Connor Rumpson! The event was not only a showcase of skill but also a heartwarming initiative, as we raised just under £900 for Make-A-Wish UK. Amidst the spirited game, delectable food, and refreshing drinks, we came together as a community to contribute to a cause close to our hearts. Thank you to every participant for making the evening a memorable success!

The Hertsmere

SHB and friends shared a fantastic day at The Hertsmere golf course, this not only led to a day filled with camaraderie, enjoyment, and laughter but also resulted in a remarkable achievement for a charitable cause. Together, we have successfully raised just under £3,000 for Make-A-Wish® UK, solely through contributions from forfeits and raffle ticket sales. This achievement is a testament to our shared commitment to making a positive impact on our community. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who participated and contributed to this significant endeavour. The day started off with a shotgun start, the horn sounded and everyone enjoyed 18 holes of golf, followed by a lunch, prize giving and raffle, great prizes were donated by our various sponsors for the day, and all in all was a very successful time away from the office! The Grove

Our third annual golf day took place at The Grove on the 17th May 2023. We were welcomed with sunshine which came just in time to host this day exclusively for our clients and closest friends of SHB. Players enjoyed a brunch and use of The Grove's practice facilities before heading off onto the 18 hole course, competing in a pairs-stableford format, taking part in hole competitions hosted by our sponsors, Oktra, Pattrn, CoStar & LoopNet and mini-games like SHB's well remembered hook-a-duck. Raising just shy of £6,000 for Make-A-Wish UK, the day was an incredible success, £3,000 was raised from just player forfeits alone, thanks to the trees, bunkers and waters on the holes! We then came together for the prize-giving and presentation, hearing more about Make-A-Wish and the incredible work that they do (led by Jason Suckley, CEO). Thank you to Portway Finance and our sponsors for providing us with some great prizes to present to the winning golfers. See you next year!

Weybrook Park Golf Club

We spent the day at Weybrook Park Golf Club with our fellow industry friends for the annual Surveyors vs. Solicitors golf day, hosted by SHB and sponsored by Pattrn & Area. The day consisted of 18 holes of golf, a raffle and prize-giving, raising a great sum for Make-A-Wish UK. A massive well done to James Thompson @ Simpson Hilder for coming first and carrying the Surveyors vs. Solicitors torch to arrange next years event - we can't wait already!

STRONG Pilates

SHB hosted its second Women in Property event at STRONG Pilates, using the exclusive Rowformer machines, one of the first in the UK all the way from sunny Australia! We started the morning with an induction to the machines, learning the different weight springs and positions. We then went ahead with the 45-minute Pilates session, activating muscles we didn't even know existed... see for yourself! Once the session was over, we networked over refreshments, which included smoothies, shots and energy boosters, feeling empowered and ready to continue with the day ahead.

Uncommon Liverpool St.

Dr Judith Mohring hosted another amazing wellbeing event involving team SHB's CEO and his fellow ultramarathon runners, along with Extraordinary Adventure Club's CEO, Calum Morrison. This was a great discussion around the Ice Ultra last year, the highs and lows, and how Extraordinary Adventure Club can bring excitement and adrenaline to your life whilst also assisting you to explore oneself.

SHB HQ

It was lovely for the SHB team to meet so many new faces who got involved in our many discussions; particularly what other company initiatives regarding workplace wellness were currently being implemented! Special thanks to Dr Judith Mohring and The Social Pantry for making this such a memorable and invaluable event. Silvermere Golf Club

And the last of the corporate events for 2022 - SHB hosted a jam-packed day for contractors and agents to play 18 holes at Silvermere (a tricky course). We raised £2000 for LoveWhereYouWork, contractors sponsored the event as well as our 2022 headline sponsors (CoStar, Sillence Hurn & Oktra) and mini-competitions were held throughout the day. A much-needed BBQ lunch was had, followed by a period of networking and a closing ceremony. Ingleby Trice took home the winning pairs title with the trophy, whilst Patrick Park from CoStar took home the turd of the tournament.

The Oval

SHB hosted the 3rd Bigger Bash at the Oval and what a day we had! 8 teams battled it out to take home the 2022 trophy. Players from Costar, Oktra, City Agents, Workspace Warriors, Gerald Eve, Lamber Smith Hampton, The Renegades and Sillence Hurn took to the pitch for a full day of cricket. Guests from the entire property industry including; agents, flexible workspace providers, lawyers, fit-out contractors, furniture providers, recruiters, asset managers, and Landlords attended to spectate in the sunshine, accompanied by food and drinks being served all day. We had lots of amazing sponsors for this event and can't wait for the SHB Bigger Bash '23. Bar Elba

We hosted networking drinks at Bar Elba to kick off the Summer of '22. We invited guests from the Flexible workspace market from the likes of The Office Group, One Avenue Group, Orega, FORA, Kitt, Landmark, Spaces, and many more! Guests took home amazing prizes for specific deals completed with SHB as a way of saying thank you. Thank you KCR Associates for sponsoring the drinks tokens and prizes - they went down a treat.

The Grove

We held our second client golf day at The infamous Grove in May this year, the sun was shining and over 50 of our incredible clients attended. Players enjoyed 18 holes and were competing in a pairs-stableford format. Receiving forfeits for landing in bunkers, trees and water, we tactically raised just over £2000 for Make-A-Wish UK. This was the first corporate-sponsored event of the year - Thank you to Costar and Realla, Sillence Hurn Building Consultancy and Oktra for sponsoring the first of many.

Kobox Marylebone

We hosted a box-fitness event for Women in Property, where fight club met night club. We started the morning with a 50-minute high-intensity boxing class, suitable for all fitness levels, led by one of Kobox's legendary female trainers and set in a state-of-the-art underground fitness space with luxury shower facilities. Post session, feeling regenerated, we networked over a smoothie or shake before heading off to start our working days.
