Funding Circle has been a longstanding client of SHB, having undertaken many real estate advisory projects on their behalf. This has been across all serviced lines within SHB, ranging from landlord and tenant work (rent review), acquisitions, dilapidations and long-term strategy. This has been in various locations across the UK and over in Europe.
Most recently SHB was instructed to dispose of a floor equating to 29,000 sqft. within 71 QVS. Following a brief letting process SHB managed to secure an early surrender of the 3rd floor. During this time, We also re-geared the 4th floor for a further 10 years with a break at year 5. The Surrender of the 3rd floor resulted in £1,500,000 of savings. We also achieved a favourable rent-free package as part of the 4th floor lease renewal.
